It didn't generalize the Germans when it comes to their hatred towards the Jews. Moreover, the innocence of the kids is really striking. The purity of their intentions, their friendship, and the way they view things without prejudices are just some of the eye-openers that really touch my heart.

thanks for recommending this film, friend! :)katrifictionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00282170725364053962noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1978935331142330148.post-39404877280437430832010-02-16T01:18:22.123+08:002010-02-16T01:18:22.123+08:00One thing that fascinated me about this movie (or ...One thing that fascinated me about this movie (or the story line for what it matters)is the fact that this has got to be one of the very few films that showcases the internal conflict within families, and Germans themselves, that was brought about by the Nazi rule- that there indeed were Germans back then that disapproved of the Nazi reign's methods. In all honesty, I've seen more brutal and more polished (in film making aspect) holocaust films but this one appeals more to the human emotion than any other. The way that Schmole and Bruno died was a consequence of the right kind of friendship that blossomed between the wrong people at the wrong time.He who can't writehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15414360483819651356noreply@blogger.com
